| Now that Jenn has found a new eventing prospect, Quinn is being offered for sale. We are asking $800 for her. She's a very special mare, so will only go to a great home! |
| We are looking for a new home for Quinn where she can be loved and ridden. Quinn is a great trail horse- and would probably make someone a really good barrel or roping horse. She's a great broodmare, too- she threw a beautiful spotted colt 2 years ago. She is a VERY easy keeper- requires grass pasture only. I would not consider Quinn a kid's horse right now- she will try to take advantage of beginner riders. She doesn't take off or buck- she just gets excited. She is the boss mare in the pasture, but when ridden regularly or pregnant this attitude doesn't show up around humans. Quinn is a very loving mare, is the first to come up to you in the pasture for scratches, and loves to give kisses. Quinn does have her quirks, though. She will lift one leg while eating and being saddled. She will turn around and threaten to nip while being girthed up,(She's never bitten us- just puts her ears back and turns back towards you) and she will make all of her pasture mates get out of her way so she can get all the attention. Quinn crosses water, trailers beautifully, rides double, has been ridden English and Western, and jumps. (Although she doesn't seem to enjoy the jumping and usually pins her ears!!) She is up to date on her Coggins and Deworming, and just had her feet trimmed a few weeks ago. (She is barefoot) Quinn is VERY fat and out of shape right now, and we just don't have time to ride her enough. We rode her last week and she did just fine! She is a very special part of our family, and we want to make sure she has a wonderful new home. We have reduced her price to $800 since Deacon has come back home and we have too many horses. Please email if you are interested in Quinn... JJRabbits@Bellsouth.net |
